Long-Term Care //

Gore Nursing Center offers a comprehensive long-term care program.  Our long-term care residents enjoy the safety and security of a modern, warm, and welcoming building with highly trained and caring staff.  Our goal here is simple; to treat our residents like family. That is why we take time to carefully assess each person and identify their individual needs as a long-term care resident.  As each new admission is different, we understand the process can be confusing.  Please call us any time. We will be happy to walk you through the admission process and answer any questions you may have.

We accept the following methods of payment for a long-term stay:
​

  • Medicaid

  • Private pay

  • Long-term care insurance 

In addition to accepting these methods, we are also a VA contracted facility.  Caring for those who protected this country and the American people is an honor to the facility and its employees.  
Our services offer assistance with the following activities of daily living:

  • Medication management

  • Bathing assistance

  • Feeding assistance 

  • Assistance with transferring and positioning

  • Assistance with dressing

  • Toileting assistance

  • Continence training

  • Medical Director available 24/7, 7 days a week

  • Outside smoking area

  • Home-cooked meals

  • Always available menu (short order)

  • Local transportation for shopping and medical appointments

  • Full-service laundry and maintenance 

  • Flat screen TVs in all rooms

  • Activities offered 7 days a week

  • On-site beauty salon

  • Outdoor green areas for visiting/walking

  • Security cameras on-site (public areas)
